The Scarf

There have been many versions of the scarf. From variations of green and white to red and black, some striped to argyle or solid, the thing they have in common is the declaration of a love for the Timbers soccer team. Seen waving from the stands this article of clothing is incorporated prominently in the Army's performance of support. They have even incorporated it into the singing of the National Anthem.

The Tifo

Seen decorating the north end of the stadium, the Tifo is a decorative display used to express feelings of the Army. Sometimes it is feeling of a love of being home in Portland with a gigantic Dorthy on the yellow brickĀ road, with the saying "No place like home" behind; sometimes it is a scary clown or a depiction of the Morton Salt Girl. All of these are brought to bring a fun expression of values or feelings.

Flags

Waving among the crowd the Timbers Army draws a great variety of flags. Among them can be the Portland City flag, the LBGT flag, and the Cascadi flag. Most common among them are different representations of the Timbers colors, White and Green. Like the scarves, these have many different patterns or styles. This variety comes from the diversity that is the Timbers Army. Joined by the common love of the game and the team, the flag allows members to give personal connection from one of their communities to another.
